The Mayor of Amsterdam wants to prohibit MMA and Thai Boxing events in Amsterdam when prostitution and countless drugs are not banned.
Help support Bas Rutten, Alistair Overeem, Sammy Schilt, Marloes Coenen, and countless other fighters by signing the petition below and sending a loud message. People need heroes to inspire them to set and achieve their goals. They find such role models in the succesful Dutch martial arts scene; with reigning champions and succesfull fighters active in all leading organizations (e.g. K-1, Strikeforce, DREAM, UFC, GLORY, Shooto, K-1 Max).

Ironic when MMA begins to flourish in Canada with Ontario allowing it and an upcoming show in Montreal in December 2010 with GSP vs. Koscheck.
